TIRS Strengthens Data Protection Compliance with CDPO Training

The Taraba State Internal Revenue Service (TIRS) has participated in a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) training organised by Valuesoft Intelligent Automation Ltd in Abuja.

The training is part of the Service’s commitment to strengthening data protection, privacy and information security, in line with the Federal Government’s directive for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

The capacity-building programme is expected to enhance TIRS’s ability to safeguard taxpayers’ and employees’ personal data while promoting responsible and compliant data management across the Service.
